Our Story

Veterans into Logistics was formed in 2020, purchasing our first HGV training vehicle, named in memory of Sergeant Jamie Doyle.
Never forgotten.

  • Guide veterans into logistics careers.
  • Build partnerships that open opportunities.
  • Support stable housing for vulnerable veterans.
  • Cut reoffending by providing employment.
  • Close the UK logistics skills gap.
  • Create a sustainable charitable organisation.
  • Stand against prejudice and promote diversity.
  • Welcome and support everyone.
  • Find meaningful jobs for veterans.
  • Act as an independent voice for veterans.
  • Work with purpose to achieve lasting impact.

A Future with Purpose

• Should have access to meaningful employment after service.
• Should not face homelessness or crime to survive.
• Deserve specialised support after dedicating their lives to protecting the UK.

• Provide HGV training to reduce veteran unemployment.
• Mentor and support veterans as they transition to civilian life.
• Offer guidance to prepare them for stable, successful futures.

• We understand the challenges of leaving the Armed Forces without transferable skills.
• We reduce unemployment, homelessness, and imprisonment in the veteran community.
• Civilian life can be confusing and isolating – we help veterans regain purpose and belonging.

• The UK needs 200,000 new HGV drivers in the next five years.
• Over half of current drivers are 50–65 and nearing retirement.
• Logistics offers structure, stability, and financial security.
• Veterans’ skills make them ideal for well-paid, lifelong careers in logistics.
