About Us

Our Mission
Veterans into Logistics was founded to prevent and reduce poverty across the military veteran community by creating a holistic pathway of funded HGV driver training into employment for those struggling with the transition to civilian life, holding criminal convictions, long-term unemployed and, or those on low incomes.
Our Vision
Our vision is that no veteran is left behind. We provide support for those facing poverty, unemployment, or other barriers by creating pathways into stable employment through funded HGV training and partnerships. In doing so, we restore dignity, independence, and purpose to those who have served.
Our Aims
Building futures for veterans while strengthening UK logistics.
- Guide veterans into logistics careers.
- Build partnerships that open opportunities.
- Support stable housing for vulnerable veterans.
- Cut reoffending by providing employment.
- Close the UK logistics skills gap.
- Create a sustainable charitable organisation.
Our Values
A voice for veterans, a force for positive change.
- Stand against prejudice and promote diversity.
- Welcome and support everyone.
- Find meaningful jobs for veterans.
- Act as an independent voice for veterans.
- Work with purpose to achieve lasting impact.

Our Story
After walking away from another fellow veterans’ funeral in 2018, our founder Darren Wright, knew he had to do more to provide tangible support for those struggling with their transition from military service to civilian life. Darren knew first-hand how challenging this could be, having significant struggles following the loss of his military network and the structure of military life.
Veterans into Logistics was formed in 2020, purchasing our first HGV training vehicle, named in memory of Sergeant Jamie Doyle.
Never forgotten.
